Perhaps among other factors, people are used to obeying. There's fear in many areas of life such as cost of living, jobs, war. A fearful approach to normal living and disease becomes more common too. Plus the government is our 'supreme leader' while we are animals who like to think we are smart on the animal farm. Haha. Thanks for your post though it is indeed a dark review that inspires little cheer. X

Interestingly, it seems as though young people are not in love with the NHS or medical professionals generally. Some of this might be because they all know of friends/friends of friends who had their medical/scientific studies totally messed up by the covid debacle. (I know one newly qualified doctor who did chunks of study from home without ever seeing, for example, a pregnant woman. She has decided that, as she knows nothing about how to deal with problem pregnancies, she won't be specialising in that area!)

I think many young people don't trust doctors because they saw how crap they were during all the lockdowns. I think more young people are taking out private medical insurance so I wonder whether they will keep supporting an NHS which can't be bothered to see them or their elderly relatives. Maybe, like the unloved BBC, the NHS will start dying on the vine?

It does indeed seem to be those who grew up in the mid Twentieth Century, rather than the young, who seem most hypnotized by the NHS. It's heartbreaking to hear so many people I know of that age group talk about the latest outbreak of Covid that they suffered and how they're going to yet another 'vaccine' for it, or wondering why they're now ill all the time or how the 'amazing' NHS staff cared for their friends who evidence suggests were made sick my medical incompetence and then put on end of life protocols and scoffing if one dares to suggest that the NHS might not be serving their best interests.

Yes, I know loads of middle-aged and old people (being in that demographic myself!) and they are convinced I am a dangerous rebel because I think the covid debacle was just a panic-ridden con, the masks were obvious nonsense and the jabs are clearly lethal. They all, to a man, believe it was a plague of biblical proportions and they were lucky to survive. They all take every jab and pill offered to them and think it's proof of my conspiracy theory tendencies that I take no medication at all and haven't seen a doctor for years. They can tell me how wonderful the NHS is, how dreadful the alternative would be, how efficient the European countries' systems are, how their GP wouldn't prescribe something they didn't need, how dreadfully their friend/relation was treated by the NHS. One contradiction after the other which they can't see!

It's a similar story in my industry (Railways) and your proposals would apply equally there too. Most of the problems can be attributed to over-regulation by Whitehall bureaucrats and excessive influence of multi-national corporations. Reports are produced by dubious characters that inevitably call for more taxpayer funding and powers for the same Whitehall bureaucrats that caused the problems in the first place. As many are wedded to the idea of state ownership for railways and the NHS, it's worth noting that state ownership doesn't have to mean nationalisation: state ownership can also be implemented through local /regional authorities, just as private ownership can be achieved through local businesses as well as through multi-nationals.

There have been numerous reviews of the NHS in the past. This one is no more independent than the Covid-19 Public Inquiry ie the government inspecting itself.

It brings home to me that health is a major part of "The New Normal" aka The 4th Industrial Revolution, hence the games being played with our minds and bodies.

There was no pandemic so no need for any safe and effective vaccines or many of the so-called "remedies". A whole industry has been set up to apparently set us free from governments and big pharma. How convenient!

Technology and data are buzz words and we have plenty of that in Britain..and bodies to be sacrificed on the altar of progress. Progress towards a future where you are known (and owned), inside and out. Where your very genetic make up will be recorded at birth and used to create your digital twin.

The World Economic Forum makes it very clear that through artificial intelligence, quantum computing, 6G and synthetic biology the global elite intend to reengineer humanity to their own twisted ends. We have to stay aware and true to ourselves.
